The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Delverde.
Delverde fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cohen sprawls well initially but Delverde persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Delverde is looking for a kimura here.
Delverde is looking for a kimura but Cohen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Delverde to get the leverage.

Delverde missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Cohen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Delverde is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cohen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Delverde's back instead.

Cohen is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Delverde defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Delverde drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Delverde jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Delverde is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cohen has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Delverde is looking to defend but Cohen has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Delverde! Cohen pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Delverde taps out and this one is all over!
