Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motta gets the takedown into side control.
Magellan wants to control but Motta postures up.
Motta stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Ferdinand Magellan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magellan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Motta sprawls well initially but Magellan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Magellan slows the pace down in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Motta tries to get to full guard but Magellan has control of the leg.
Magellan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Motta is trying to control but Magellan manages to pass to mount!
Magellan moves to the back.
Motta is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Magellan has the hooks in. Motta is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Magellan looking for the choke but no joy.
Motta just trying to survive but Magellan is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Motta wants to escape the position.
Motta is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Magellan.
Magellan working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Motta is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Magellan has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Motta taps out!
