Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amen Ra Ho tep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Dickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amen Ra Ho tep had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Amen Ra Ho tep!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho tep throws a right hand that Dickens ducks under and follows up with a left that Dickens also avoids with ease.
Ho tep tries a head kick but it misses.
Dickens shoots in looking for a takedown. Ho tep tries to sprawl out of it but Dickens keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ho tep manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ho tep lands a high kick to the side of Dickens's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Ho tep dives into guard, looking to finish.
Dickens is rocked!
It looks like Mason Dickens has been cut.
Ho tep has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dickens is proving hard to escape from.
Dickens is trying to keep Ho tep in close.
Dickens working for submissions but it's allowed Ho tep to get to half guard.
Dickens is trying to control but Ho tep passes into side control!

Dickens is trying to control Ho tep's posture but Ho tep avoids it.
Ho tep tries to stand but Dickens is controlling his head.
Dickens looks to move to half guard but instead Ho tep has passed into mount! Damn!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dickens wants to control but Ho tep is having none of it.
Dickens reaches up to try and control the position but Ho tep seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Dickens rolls and tries to escape and now Ho tep has his back!
Dickens is trying to break free.
Ho tep is looking to control Dickens but Dickens is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Ho tep wants to control but Dickens is keeping busy.
Dickens looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ho tep is trying to stick to Dickens's back but Dickens is turning into Ho tep. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ho tep's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dickens.
Dickens is stalling in the full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ho tep lands with a kick to the temple. Dickens shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Ho tep is breathing heavily.
Dickens fails with the takedown.
Dickens is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dickens has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ho tep finds it's way round the side to connect with Dickens's head.
Ho tep moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Dickens blocks a head kick by Ho tep.
Ho tep lands with a kick to the temple. Dickens shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Ho tep is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dickens throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ho tep's waist but Ho tep gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dickens off to one side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dickens drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dickens is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dickens trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ho tep is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dickens is controlling him.
Dickens trying to control but Ho tep is working from the bottom.
Dickens passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dickens wants to control but Ho tep is keeping him busy.
Ho tep won't allow Dickens to pass to mount.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dickens takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
No luck for Dickens with that takedown attempt.
Ho tep throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dickens shoots in for a takedown but Ho tep shows good takedown defense.
Ho tep tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dickens swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dickens closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dickens lands in his opponent's guard.

Dickens looking to sit in guard and control but Ho tep gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Dickens doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Dickens is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dickens is on top in guard.
Ho tep keeping full guard, as Dickens tries to pass.

Dickens is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ho tep utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dickens wants to control from the top but Ho tep keeps moving.
Dickens stands and throws Ho tep's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dickens is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Ho tep wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dickens wants to control but Ho tep is keeping him busy.
Ho tep prevents Dickens from moving into mount.

Ho tep is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Dickens laying and praying for a moment but Ho tep takes advantage and regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mason Dickens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ho tep looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dickens tries for a takedown but Ho tep sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ho tep tries to clinch but Dickens moves out of range.
Dickens shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ho tep but Ho tep pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ho tep throws a head kick that half lands.

Mason Dickens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big head kick from Ho tep and Dickens is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Dickens is still in real trouble! Can Ho tep finish him?
Dickens takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Ho tep wants to stand but Dickens has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Dickens seems to have recovered his senses.
Dickens wants to sweep but no luck.
Dickens has Ho tep pulled in close to control his posture.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dickens shoots in for a takedown but Ho tep shows good takedown defense.
Amen Ra Ho tep has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mason Dickens.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dickens shoots in but Ho tep avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ho tep lands a big head kick that sends Dickens to the canvas! Ho tep follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
