The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira throws a head kick but Athos moves out of range.
Athos throws an overhand right that lands on Oliveira's shoulder, as Oliveira tries to avoid the shot.
Oliveira with a poor takedown
and Athos counters with a nice body kick.
Athos wants to slow Oliveira down by chopping away at his legs.
Nemean Athos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Athos bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Oliveira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Athos circles away.
Oliveira throws a leg kick
and Athos counters with a nice body kick.

and Athos counters with a left to the body.
Oliveira is breathing heavily.

Athos ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Athos lands a nice leg kick that just misses Oliveira's sensitive parts.

Athos fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Oh Oliveira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Athos connects with a stiff jab that staggers Oliveira - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
