Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Billy Robbin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Robbin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Larry Shaw!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robbin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Robbin throws a series of punches but Shaw avoids them all with ease.
Robbin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Shaw tries to move into range but Robbin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Robbin lands with a hook. Shaw tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Shaw shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Robbin defends it nicely.
Larry Shaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robbin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Shaw has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Shaw!

The fighters circle momentarily. Robbin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That has opened up Larry Shaw's cut even more.

Shaw shoots for a takedown but Robbin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
