Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oishi Yoshio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Redshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshio comes to the cage accompanied by "Stronger" by Kanye West. Redshaw comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stevie Ray Vaughan - Little Wing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Redshaw.
Redshaw shoots in looking for a takedown but Yoshio manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Redshaw's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Redshaw wants to clinch
and Yoshio counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Redshaw slips under a jab from Yoshio.
Yoshio throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Redshaw throws a wild body kick that Yoshio sees coming a mile off.
Redshaw moves in looking to clinch but Yoshio pushes him off.

letting Yoshio counter with a right hand.
Yoshio misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Redshaw.
Yoshio throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Redshaw sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Redshaw fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yoshio misses with a body kick.
Yoshio loads up on a big right hand but Redshaw slips the punch.
Yoshio looks to score with a jab to the body but Redshaw is just out of range.
Yoshio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nice body kick from Redshaw.

Yoshio lands a nice looking kick to the body. Redshaw takes a step back to recover.
Redshaw shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yoshio defends it nicely.
Yoshio connects with a looping right hand.
Yoshio looks to throw the jab but Redshaw is out of range.
Redshaw is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Yoshio's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yoshio pushes Redshaw off looking to stand but Redshaw dives back in and keeps control.

Yoshio slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Redshaw throws a strike but Yoshio rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Redshaw lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Yoshio!
Yoshio wants to control but Redshaw is having none of it.

Yoshio tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Redshaw misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Redshaw throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Redshaw prevents Yoshio from getting the reversal.
The referee warns Yoshio that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Yoshio wants to control but Redshaw is having none of it.
Redshaw unloads with some shots from mount but Yoshio bucks and avoids them well.
Yoshio tries to lock up and control but Redshaw gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Yoshio takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Redshaw's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
