Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Killer Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karch Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killer Boom has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Killer Boom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Karch Griffin! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Boom is trying to defend but Griffin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Boom trying to control here.
Griffin is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Boom still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Boom has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Boom tries to move into full mount but can't pass Griffin's legs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Griffin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boom wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Griffin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom trying to control from half guard but Griffin is working away. Boom thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Boom could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fighters are battling for position here. Griffin manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Boom won't allow Griffin to sweep him here. Boom has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Griffin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Boom is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Griffin pulls down on the head and he's put Boom to sleep! This one is all over!
