Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodg Padacteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xander Coll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rodg Padacteri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Xander Coll! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Padacteri throws a nice looking combination but Coll bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Padacteri throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coll closes the distance and clinches up with Padacteri, looking for a takedown. Coll pushes Padacteri against the cage but Padacteri circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Padacteri misses with a series of wild punches.

Padacteri closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Coll's face as Padacteri controls the position. Padacteri trying to control the action but Coll is working from the bottom. Padacteri controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. What's Coll going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Coll being controlled for a moment. Coll can't do much from the bottom here. You can see the frustration on Coll's face as Padacteri controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Rodg Padacteri just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Padacteri throws a right and a left that Coll avoids nicely. Padacteri throws a head kick but Coll moves out of range.

Horrible takedown by Coll or perhaps it was just good defense by Padacteri which made him look bad. Coll dodges the punch combination from Padacteri.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Padacteri scores with a three punch combo!
Rodg Padacteri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Padacteri tries to bum rush Coll with a series of wild strikes but Coll uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Padacteri fails to land with a series of punches.
Coll doesn't manage to clinch there - Padacteri circles away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Coll checks a leg kick. Nice takedown defense from Padacteri. No joy for Coll on that attempt. Rodg Padacteri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xander Coll. Padacteri closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Coll tries to get to full guard but Padacteri has control of the leg. Padacteri wants to pass the guard but Coll is defending well. Coll is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Coll looks gassed! Padacteri looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Padacteri wants to control but Coll is keeping him busy. Padacteri sitting and controlling from the half guard. Padacteri working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Padacteri tries to score with a low kick but Coll moves his leg out of the way. Coll shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Padacteri but Padacteri pushes him off and we're back to square one. Padacteri misses with a double jab.
Padacteri looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Padacteri slows the pace down in half guard. Padacteri tries to pass the half guard into mount. Coll knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Padacteri is controlling the pace.
Coll is looking for a sweep. Padacteri is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Padacteri trying to control from Coll's half guard. Coll has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coll looking to control.
Coll is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Padacteri is controlling him. Padacteri seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Coll looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Coll looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Coll throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Padacteri's waist but Padacteri gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coll off to one side. Coll drives through and clinches with Padacteri against the cage.

Padacteri misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Coll.

Coll controls Padacteri momentarily but Padacteri frees himself. Padacteri might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Coll wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rodg Padacteri dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Coll uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Padacteri.

Padacteri shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Padacteri controlling from the full mount. Coll tries to hold on but Padacteri postures up. Coll keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Coll is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Padacteri tries to control but Coll wriggling away. A nice elbow there by Padacteri. Padacteri avoids the attempt from Coll to control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Padacteri looking to control but Coll is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coll is looking to improve his position but Padacteri isn't that keen on the idea. Padacteri tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Coll is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Coll tries to lock up and control but Padacteri gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Coll swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Coll regains half guard. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Padacteri walks into a left hand. Coll instigates a clinch. Padacteri goes for a takedown attempt but Coll pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Padacteri is pressing down on Coll's thigh, looking to free his foot. Coll is holding on for now. Padacteri seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Padacteri trying to pass the guard but Coll defending well. Padacteri is thwarting Coll's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Padacteri perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Padacteri seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Coll for as long as he can get away with. Padacteri has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Padacteri blocks the strikes from Coll.
Padacteri takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Rodg Padacteri just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. No joy there for Padacteri, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Padacteri. Padacteri wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coll keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rodg Padacteri dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Padacteri scores a takedown into full mount! Coll is looking to get to half guard. Padacteri wants to control the pace but Coll is squirming around nicely. Coll is wriggling around trying to escape.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Padacteri prevents Coll from getting the reversal. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Coll tries to lock up and control but Padacteri gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Coll is in all sorts of trouble here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Padacteri shoots and misses and Coll counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Coll. Coll breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Coll wants to sweep here but Padacteri controlling him for the moment. Rodg Padacteri overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Coll shoots in but no luck this time. Padacteri misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Coll scores a takedown into full mount! Coll controlling from mount. Coll has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Padacteri's face.
Xander Coll has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Coll scoring with strikes but Padacteri is staying in there. Coll trying to control but Padacteri is having none of it. Padacteri knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coll on the ground. Coll is in the full mount, landing strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Xander Coll. I think Padacteri has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
