Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barbara Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Activin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barbara Boxer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Activin!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Boxer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Activin looks to score with a jab to the body but Boxer is just out of range.
Activin misses with a straight left.
Activin shoots in looking for a takedown but Boxer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Activin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Activin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Boxer's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Activin counters with a takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Activin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Boxer is trying to control Activin's posture but Activin avoids it.
Boxer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Activin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Activin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boxer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Boxer can't do much from the bottom here.

Boxer is looking to reverse the position.
Activin sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Boxer is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

It looks like George Activin has been cut.

Boxer has control of Activin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Activin regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Boxer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Activin looks a forlorn figure.
George Activin has got the better of the ground game so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boxer lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Boxer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Activin's face.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
