The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basher pushes Maney up against the cage in a clinch.
Maney misses with a knee to the head.
Basher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Maney throws a knee to the head but misses.
Basher has Maney pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Basher pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Maney tumbling to the mat - Basher dives into Maney's guard.
Basher stays in close to Maney's body and controls the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Maney is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Basher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Basher tries to get out of the position.

Maney is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Basher is defending well though. Maney let's go of the attempt for now.

Basher is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Maney can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Basher mounts Maney! Really nice guard pass there!
Maney defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Basher.
Maney is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Basher locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Maney is forced to tap!
