Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hairy Bear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marty Laguna!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bear closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bear fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bear with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Laguna pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bear clinches up against the cage.
Stalling in the clinch from Laguna.

Laguna's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bear throws a right hand that misses
and Laguna counters with a one-two to the body.
Bear drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Bear loads up on a big right hand but Laguna slips the punch.
Laguna throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bear stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bear thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice shot by Laguna.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bear throws an overhand right that lands on Laguna's shoulder, as Laguna tries to avoid the shot.
Laguna lands a nice shot that snaps Bear's head back.
Bear misses with a low kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Laguna walks away with a smile on his face. Bear gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bear scores with a crisp jab that stopped Laguna in his tracks.
Laguna fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bear avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bear swings widly with a right hand
and Laguna connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Laguna moves into range and connects with a jab.
Laguna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bear moves away.
Nice jab there from Laguna.
Laguna feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bears jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laguna connects with a single shot there.
Laguna is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bear had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Laguna stuns Bear with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bear uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Laguna.

Bear fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Laguna, pushing him back against the cage.

Bear tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Laguna smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hairy Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bear uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Laguna.
Laguna dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bear looks to score with a jab to the body but Laguna is just out of range.
Bear lands a nice hook to Laguna's body. Laguna takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Laguna lands a really nice looking cross but Bear seems unphased.
Laguna keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Laguna digs a good body shot into Bear's ribs.
Bear misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bear closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Laguna fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Laguna cracks Bear with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bear throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bear is breathing heavily.
Laguna misses with a few strikes there.
Laguna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bear moves away.

Laguna thows a body shot but no joy.
Bear walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Oooooh!!! Laguna has knocked Bear down with a huge combo! Laguna steps away and waves a wobbly Bear back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Laguna lands a hook that stumbles Bear back into the cage. Laguna follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Bear to the canvas! Laguna pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Bear has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
