Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vitinho Bolao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Sabin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolao avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bolao has closed the distance and engaged Sabin in a clinch.
Sabin lands a nice elbow.

Bolao really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sabin gets control of Bolao's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sabin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Sabin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bolao. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Michael Sabin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bolao shoots for a double leg takedown but Sabin sprawls well. He's pushed Bolao's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sabin tries to clinch but Bolao is having none of it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sabin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sabin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sabin manages to end up in side control.
Bolao is not content to let Sabin control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sabin tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Bolao is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sabin 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Sabin prevents Bolao from standing back up.
Bolao moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Sabin wants to control from the top but Bolao keeps moving.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sabin gets caught napping as Bolao dives in and scores a takedown. Sabin manages to retain guard.
Sabin wants to stand up but Bolao is controlling him.
Sabin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bolao advances to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Michael Sabin will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sabin tries to sprawl but Bolao drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Well, if Bolao is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Vitinho Bolao has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sabin lands a body shot.
Bolao scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
A lull in the action here as Bolao stalls from top position.
Bolao working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Bolao will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bolao decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Sabin enables Bolao to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sabin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Bolao engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Bolao drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bolao seems to have locked his on tight now - Sabin screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bolao, as he picks up the win!
