Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darque Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chrisi Kay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chrisi Kay was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Darque Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chrisi Kay! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight looks to score with a jab to the body but Kay is just out of range. Knight feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kay is looking for a triangle here but Knight uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Kay gets back to half guard. Kay is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Knight pulls his head out easily. Kay actively working from the bottom here. Knight tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kay knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kay moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Knight throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight stopping the sweep attempt from Kay. Knight missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Knight postures up and lands a big shot to Kay's brow. Knight thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Knight in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kay looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Knight has picked Kay up and slammed him! Kay can't keep hold of the triangle and Knight manages to pass to side control! Kay tries to improve position but can't. You can see the frustration on Kay's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kay throws a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Kay tries to strike but it doesn't land. Knight has knee on belly and moves into mount. Knight has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kay is in a horrible position here. Knight smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Kay has given up his back here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kay trying to control the hands but Knight won't let him. Kay showing good submission defense here.
Kay is really stuck here.
Kay tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Knight lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
It looks like Chrisi Kay has been cut. Kay is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kay wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Knight is trying to stick to Kay's back but Kay is turning into Knight. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Knight's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kay. Knight is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kay defends well. Kay avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Knight working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kay passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kay gets to mount! Knight was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Kay looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kay postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Knight looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Knight sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Knight throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darque Knight dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chrisi Kay's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kay gets the takedown into side control. Kay is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Knight is trying to escape and Kay transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Knight is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kay! Very nice indeed!
