Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ray Olob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonnie Boardwalk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Olob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonnie Boardwalk! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boardwalk looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Olob! Olob is in a horrible position here. Boardwalk smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Olob tries to hold on but Boardwalk pushes him away. Olob regains half guard. Olob trying to hold on to Boardwalk's head to control him but Boardwalk postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boardwalk thows a huge punch but Olob dodges it nicely.
Boardwalk throwing shots but Olob is blocking nicely. Olob has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boardwalk is working away from the top position though. Boardwalk sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Olob defending well though. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Boardwalk is keen to just control but Olob is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boardwalk missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Boardwalk is looking to take a break and control but Olob is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boardwalk seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jonnie Boardwalk hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Boardwalk throws a low kick but Olob moves out of range easily. Boardwalk will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Olob has his takedown stuffed and Boardwalk counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boardwalk throwing strikes from guard but Olob blocks nicely. Boardwalk looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Olob controlling Boardwalk's posture. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Boardwalk trying to control but Olob is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Olob controls Boardwalk momentarily but Boardwalk frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ray Olob wasn't doing enough on the ground. Olob looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Boardwalk wants to sweep but no luck. Boardwalk keeping moving, preventing Olob from controlling successfully. Boardwalk is pulling down on Olob's head. It's preventing any offense from Olob, at least for the moment. Olob wants to control from the top but Boardwalk keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boardwalk closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Boardwalk thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Olob's head. Olob avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Boardwalk. Boardwalk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Olob keeps working. Boardwalk content to control rather than advance. Olob trying to hold on to Boardwalk's head to control him but Boardwalk postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Boardwalk connects with a nice short shot to Olob's temple. Olob looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Boardwalk takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Olob has his hands clasped together around Boardwalk's back. He's all about the action. Olob trying to control but Boardwalk postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Olob keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Olob is looking to control Boardwalk's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Olob avoid being mounted? Boardwalk lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Boardwalk throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Olob is looking to escape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boardwalk stalling. Boardwalk not landing any meaningful shots this time. Boardwalk throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Olob wants to get back to his feet. Olob is not content to let Boardwalk control the position. Boardwalk not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Boardwalk with the ground and pound but Olob uses the opportunity to regain guard. Boardwalk looking to sit in guard and control but Olob gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Olob stopping the sweep attempt from Boardwalk. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonnie Boardwalk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Boardwalk looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Olob with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Boardwalk thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Olob's head.

And that's the end of the fight! Jonnie Boardwalk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Boardwalk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
