Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quentin John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Sunfields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sunfields has chosen Hostil Groove - Fly RoutineHostil Groove - Fly Routine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Sunfields decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in John's guard.
Sunfields stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. John swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sunfieldsis looking to pass into half guard but John pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now John is in guard.
Sunfields wants to sweep but no luck.
Sunfields is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
John might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
John wants to stand but Sunfields has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

John is pushing down on Sunfields's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sunfields is fighting to maintain full guard but John has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sunfields tries to roll over but John keeps him under control.

John throws a nice looking combination but Sunfields bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sunfields shoots for a takedown but John saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sunfields changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. John tries to avoid it but Sunfields manages to keep hold of a leg and drag John to the ground. John escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Quentin John is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

John feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sunfields sprawling to the canvas! Sunfields rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can John finish him?!


Sunfields is rocked!
Crack! John connects with the perfect overhand right and Sunfields falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for John!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Quentin John!
