The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diamonds misses with a few strikes there.
Diamonds misses with a takedown attempt
and Lawry counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Diamonds had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lawry defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Lawry counters with a huge left! Diamonds is in big trouble! He's backing up but Lawry isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Diamonds from any more damage. A dominating finish by Lawry!
