Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg Downs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlo Crayesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlo Crayesky has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carlo Crayesky! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Downs throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Downs!
Crayesky swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Downs counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Downs passes the guard and advances to mount! Downs connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Crayesky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Downs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Downs controlling from mount. Crayesky wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Downs pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Downs raining down shots from the mount! Downs working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Downs throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Downs breaks from Crayesky's wrist control and lands an elbow. Downs cracks Crayesky with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Downs controlling the position easily from mount. Downs has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Crayesky's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Downs content just to control the position here. Downs sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Downs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Downs controlling his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Greg Downs just wasn't active enough. Downs drives through and clinches with Crayesky against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Downs scores with a knee to the head.

Downs kicks Crayesky off and gets to his feet. Crayesky misses with a double jab
and Downs counters with a nice double leg into side control. Crayesky won't be happy with that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greg Downs dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Downs shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Downs showed some decent athleticism there. Crayesky is looking to get back to is feet but Downs passes into side control.
Downs cracks Crayesky with a big right hand but Crayesky just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Crayesky trying to remain calm as Downs controls from the top position. Downs seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Crayesky for as long as he can get away with. Downs's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Crayesky is breathing heavily. Downs decides to stand up, so the ref orders Crayesky to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Downs scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Downs stands up. Carlo Crayesky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Crayesky throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Downs counters with a one-two to the body. Carlo Crayesky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Excellent takedown into side control there by Downs. Downs is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crayesky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Downs advances to full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Downs working Crayesky over with strikes here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crayesky has given up his back. Will we see Downs going for some submissions?

Crayesky is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Downs manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.
