Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dale Gribble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruben Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gribble comes to the cage accompanied by King Of the Hill. Santana has chosen Deep Space 9mm as his entrance music. Dale Gribble has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dale Gribble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruben Santana!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Santana.
Santana shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Gribble slips a jab and a cross from Santana.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gribble looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gribble throws a low kick but Santana avoids it.
Santana closes the distance and clinches.
Gribble has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Gribble goes for a takedown attempt but Santana pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gribble takes a kick to the side of the head.
Santana throws a series of punches but Gribble moves out of range.
Gribble is looking to score with low kicks.

Santana lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Santana has hold of one of Gribble's legs. Gribble is fighting the takedown attempt but Santana gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gribble wants to get back to his feet but Santana is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gribble cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Santana wants to control but Gribble is having none of it.
Santana is desperately trying to improve his position but Gribble has a good base and remains in mount.
Gribble can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Santana is looking to escape.
Santana gets back to half guard.
Santana is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gribble thows a huge punch but Santana dodges it nicely.
Gribble is working for a submission of some sort.
Santana manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Santana misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A looping hook to the body misses from Santana. Gribble does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gribble gets tackled into the cage by Santana. Santana maintains the clinch.
Gribble tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Santana's elbow.

Santana tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A nice inside leg kick there by Santana. That's going to slow Gribble down.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Santana, as that shot connected.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
