Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erick Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Baker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Baker!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Coleman missing with punches from the bottom.

Baker is taking a breather. Coleman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Coleman tries to get to full guard but Baker has control of the leg.
Coleman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Coleman is refusing to be controlled, as Baker sits in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coleman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Baker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
