Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oz Clarke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, JW Alonso! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alonso slips a jab and a cross from Clarke.
Alonso tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Clarke paws at him with a jab and circles away. Alonso closes the distance but Clarke moves to the side and Clarke counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Alonso is lucky that one didn't land flush. Alonso avoids the body shot from Clarke.
Alonso throws a right hand that Clarke ducks under and follows up with a left that Clarke also avoids with ease. Clarke misses with a double jab.
Clarke lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Clarke throws a series of punches but Alonso moves out of range. Alonso throws a series of punches but Clarke avoids them all with ease. Alonso closes the distance looking to clinch and Clarke counters with a good low kick that Alonso was not able to check. Alonso wants to clinch but Clarke slips to the side and Clarke counters with a flying knee. Nice. The fight moves into the clinch position. Clarke stalling against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarke blocks an elbow strike. Clarke's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Clarke blocks a body shot from Alonso. Alonso being controlled against the cage. Alonso is looking to control Clarke's arms but Clarke gets an underhook and turns him. Now Alonso has his back to the cage. Alonso lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Clarke or not. Clarke fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Alonso lands an elbow inside that Clarke shrugs off.
It looks like Oz Clarke has been cut. Clarke on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Clarke has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Alonso scores with a hook to the body. Alonso misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Clarke.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Alonso is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Alonso tries to land a knee to the head but Clarke blocks with his arms.

Clarke is breathing heavily. Alonso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Clarke misses with a series of wild punches.
Alonso scores with a jab to the jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! Clarke swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Alonso counters with a crisp right that sends Clarke to the canvas! Alonso follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
