Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Mytsyno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ed Mytsyno!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mytsyno throws a right hand that misses
and Foster connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Foster throws an off balance right hand
and Mytsyno counters with a stiff right hand.
Foster clobbers Mytsyno with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mytsyno throws a poor cross that misses
and Foster counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Foster scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Foster throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mytsyno sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Foster counters with a stiff right hand.
Foster swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Mytsyno counter with a right hand.


It looks like Marcus Foster has been cut.
Foster moves into range and connects with a jab.

Foster throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mytsyno tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Foster is in Mytsyno's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marcus Foster will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mytsyno might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Foster throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mytsyno on the side of the head.
Nice takedown defense from Mytsyno. No joy for Foster on that attempt.

Foster is looking to take a break and control but Mytsyno is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Foster prevents Mytsyno from getting back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marcus Foster.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Foster, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
