The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen drops his hands momentarily and Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hansen scores with a three punch combo!
Silva connects with a looping right hand.
Hansen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Silva.

It looks like Julio Silva has been cut.
A punch lands to the side of Hansen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hansen throws a leg kick but Silva checks it.
Hansen stuns Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mac Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hansen scores with a hook to the body. Silva takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hansen lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Hansen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hansen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.
