Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Humbledink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eduardo Silva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Edward Humbledink's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Edward Humbledink! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva throws a head kick but Humbledink moves out of range.
Humbledink misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Silva duly obliges.
It looks like Edward Humbledink has been cut. Humbledink clinches up against the cage. Humbledink tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.
Humbledink's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Humbledink circles away quickly and effectively. Silva connects with a crisp jab. Humbledink avoids the head kick by Silva.
Humbledink shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Eduardo Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Humbledink. Silva tries to land a front kick but Humbledink steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Humbledink tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice sprawl there from Silva as Humbledink shoots in. Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Humbledink counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Humbledink is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Silva wants to stand but Humbledink is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Humbledink wants to stand but Silva has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Humbledink looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Edward Humbledink was stalling too much, according to the referee. Humbledink avoids the head kick by Silva.
Humbledink uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
Silva could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Humbledink counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Silva is lucky that one didn't land flush. A head kick misses from Silva. Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A slapping leg kick lands for Silva.
Humbledink shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well. Humbledink looks gassed! Humbledink pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Humbledink avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Humbledink's head. Silva throws a head kick but Humbledink moves out of range.

Humbledink is rocked! Silva throws a lazy body kick and Humbledink counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Silva has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Humbledink tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.

Silva letting Humbledink take a breather here. Humbledink tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Humbledink goes for a takedown in the clinch but Silva prevents it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva tries to break free but Humbledink pushes him back against the cage. Humbledink wants a takedown.
Silva is trying to push Humbledink away but Humbledink has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva lands a big head kick that sends Humbledink tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves Humbledink back to his feet - he wants the finish! Humbledink is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva feints a jab and as Humbledink dips his head, Silva unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Humbledink right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Humbledink falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Silva smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Eduardo Silva!
