Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Gregory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sack Hitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregory comes to the cage accompanied by Chumbawamba - English Rebel Songs. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paul Gregory! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sack Hitch! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gregory is looking to clinch. Gregory fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hitch doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gregory counters with a three punch combo that has Hitch backing up. Hitch nods at Gregory to acknowledge the strikes. Gregory fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hitch shoots in but no luck this time. Gregory moves into the clinch. Gregory taking a breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Paul Gregory. Gregory closes the distance and clinches. Hitch has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gregory avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Paul Gregory has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sack Hitch. Hitch has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gregory is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hitch looking for a takedown. A short uppercut from Gregory. Gregory lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hitch. Gregory lands a nice shot to the body. Hitch takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Sack Hitch has been cut. Gregory lands an uppercut. Gregory pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A momentary lapse in concentration from Gregory enables Hitch to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gregory manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Gregory keeping moving, preventing Hitch from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gregory is controlling Hitch's posture. Hitch missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gregory lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hitch! Hitch is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Hitch tries to lock up and control but Gregory gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gregory tries to control but Hitch wriggling away. Gregory unloading with bombs! Hitch tries to lock up and control but Gregory gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hitch holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Gregory tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Gregory trying to control but Hitch is having none of it. Hitch swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Hitch is desperately trying to improve his position but Gregory has a good base and remains in mount. Hitch wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gregory.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gregory looking to control and managing it successfully. Gregory putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hitch is squirming around, avoiding Gregory's attempts to control the action. Gregory thowing shots but they're missing. Gregory takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Hitch tries to hold on but Gregory pushes him away. Gregory misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
This has been an exciting period of action! Gregory throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hitch because Gregory loaded up on that one. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hitch is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Hitch tries to hold on but Gregory pushes him away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hitch can do anything to dispel that myth. Gregory tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hitch wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gregory.

Paul Gregory dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sack Hitch's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gregory is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gregory closes the distance and clinches. Gregory prevents the takedown attempt.

Hitch is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gregory pulls him back up using the underhooks. Hitch is trying to drag Gregory to the mat but Gregory just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Gregory digs a right hand into Hitch's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hitch's gas tank. Hitch is breathing heavily. Hitch is working for takedown but Gregory is calmly controlling the position for now. A bit of stalling here from Gregory.
Gregory throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Gregory is pressed up against the cage. Hitch has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gregory down to the mat. Gregory avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Gregory throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gregory tries to clinch but Hitch is having none of it. Paul Gregory is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gregory rushes Hitch with punches - Hitch moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Hitch goes down! Gregory follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Gregory!
