Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cormac McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baki Grappler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCarthy comes to the cage accompanied by All Hope Is Gone - Slipknot. Grappler has chosen Let the bodies hit the floor as his entrance music. Baki Grappler told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cormac McCarthy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McCarthy throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
McCarthy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Grappler dodges the punch combination from McCarthy.
Grappler slips a jab and a cross from McCarthy.
Grappler shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Grappler prevents McCarthy from improving his position.
McCarthy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Grappler works over McCarthy with some ground and pound from guard.
McCarthy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Grappler in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
McCarthy is looking for a triangle but Grappler pushes his legs off easily.
Grappler is working McCarthy over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Grappler controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Grappler works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Grappler thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grappler landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Grappler working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Grappler lands with a punch from half guard.
Grappler sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McCarthy defending well though.
McCarthy is positioning himself well to prevent Grappler advancing to mount.
McCarthy is looking to improve his position.
Grappler working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
McCarthy is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Grappler scores with a couple of nice shots.
Grappler working over McCarthy with some ground and pound. McCarthy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Grappler prevents McCarthy from improving his position.
Grappler wants to take a breather but McCarthy is having none of it.
Grappler slips a nice elbow through McCarthy's hands, connecting with McCarthy's forehead.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Grappler lands a nice short elbow.
Grappler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McCarthy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Grappler seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Oh McCarthy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
McCarthy wants to get back to full guard but Grappler has passed into side control.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Grappler! McCarthy is hurt baaadly! Grappler is firing away with more strikes - McCarthy is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
