The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washburn takes the fight into the clinch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Washburn connects with a nice short shot to Nogueira's temple.

Hoban Washburn dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Donk. Washburn catches Nogueira right on the button with a cross.
Washburn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nogueira sprawls well. Nogueira wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Washburn gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Washburn cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
