Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Good Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heston Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Day comes into the arena with Hifana - Wamono blaring out of the sound system. Gracie has chosen Animal I Have Become as his entrance music. Good Day could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Heston Gracie's chin.

Heston Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Day moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gracie throws out a loose jab but Day uses good head movement to avoid it.

Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Day sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gracie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Day is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gracie.

Day shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Day sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
