Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pysiu Reja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cris Coolguy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reja misses with a combination

and Coolguy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Reja tightens his grip and picks Coolguy up, before dumping him to the ground. Coolguy manages to land in guard.
Coolguy is pulling down on Reja's head to control his posture.
Reja has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Coolguy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Coolguy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reja is aware though and is defending well.
Reja looking to sit in guard and control but Coolguy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Coolguy decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Reja's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reja drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Coolguy dives on top into guard.

Coolguy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Reja looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Coolguy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Coolguy trying to control but Reja is working from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Coolguy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Coolguy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Reja closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Coolguy makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Reja avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Coolguy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Coolguy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reja paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pysiu Reja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coolguy throws a series of punches but Reja moves out of range.

Reja closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Coolguy's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Reja is looking to advance position but Coolguy has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Coolguy has hold of Reja's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Reja manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pysiu Reja will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Coolguy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reja is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Reja's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Reja postures up in Coolguy's guard and throws a big left but Coolguy blocks it.

Reja wants to pass the guard but Coolguy is defending well.
Reja throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Reja perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Reja seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Coolguy has recovered full guard.

Reja decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Coolguy, up you get!

Coolguy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reja's waist but Reja gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coolguy off to one side.
Pysiu Reja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cris Coolguy.
Coolguy wants to clinch up but Reja keeps it at a distance.
Coolguy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Reja closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Coolguy to the mat! Coolguy manages to get full guard.
Coolguy is trying to keep Reja in close.
Reja would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Reja wants to stand but Coolguy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reja is looking to work some ground and pound but Coolguy has wrist control.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Reja throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Coolguy tries to clinch up.
Reja misses with the combination.
Coolguy fails in his attempt to clinch.

Reja moves into the clinch successfully.
Coolguy fails to pull guard.
Reja is pressed up against the cage. Coolguy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Reja down to the mat. Reja avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Reja slaps away a takedown attempt from Coolguy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pysiu Reja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cris Coolguy.

Reja has Coolguy pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Reja pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Coolguy tumbling to the mat - Reja dives into Coolguy's guard.

Reja stuffs the takedown attempt from Coolguy. Coolguy gets slowly back to his feet.
Reja throws a series of punches but Coolguy moves out of range.

Reja has managed to clinch.

Coolguy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Coolguy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Reja gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Coolguy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Pysiu Reja overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Coolguy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reja swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Reja pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Coolguy tries to close the distance and clinch but Reja swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Coolguy shoots in and drives through. Reja sprawls well.
Coolguy shoots in for a double leg but Reja sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Reja rushes Coolguy and presses him up against the cage.

Coolguy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Coolguy moves in looking to clinch but Reja pushes him off.
Reja misses with a head kick.

Coolguy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Reja!

Reja tries to reverse the position but Coolguy maintains control.
Cris Coolguy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Reja is bucking up trying to escape but Coolguy cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Reja tries to hold on but Coolguy postures up.
Coolguy landing punches.

Coolguy has control of Reja's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Reja regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pysiu Reja.
Well Reja has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
