Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Glennon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chico Lockdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chico Lockdown was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lockdown leaves Glennon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lockdown lands an overhand right.
Glennon checks a low kick from Lockdown.
Lockdown connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Glennon's hands.
Glennon walks into a straight right hand from Lockdown.

Lockdown looking to score a takedown here. Glennon is defending well but Lockdown drives through and ends up in Glennon's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Glennon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lockdown manages to get himself to full guard.

Lockdown unloads with some shots from mount but Glennon bucks and avoids them well.

Lockdown moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Glennon has worked his arm free - good work by Glennon!

Lockdown stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Lockdown lands a nice shot that snaps Glennon's head back.
Lockdown darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lockdown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lockdown throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Glennon on the side of the head.

Lockdown is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Glennon's half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glennon is breathing heavily.

Lockdown stands up from mount. Strange move.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lockdown closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Chico Lockdown has got the better of the ground game so far.

Lockdown is looking for a kimura but Glennon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lockdown to get the leverage.

Chico Lockdown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Lockdown is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Glennon reverses the position - he's now on top in Lockdown's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Glennon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Chico Lockdown is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lockdown holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lockdown jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lockdown might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Lockdown goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lockdown cracks Glennon with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Glennon shoots in but no luck this time.

Lockdown shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Glennon napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lockdown is looking to take a break and control but Glennon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Chico Lockdown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lockdown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
