Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Spider will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Spider!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spider misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lesnar works Spider's body with a nice hook.
Lesnar looks for a takedown but Spider sprawls well.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spider but Spider pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Spider wants to clinch.
Lesnar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lesnar moves out of range of the body kick from Spider.
Lesnar throws a series of strikes that have Spider backpedaling.
Lesnar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Spider moves in looking to clinch but Lesnar pushes him off.
Lesnar tests Spider's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Spider has closed the distance and engaged Lesnar in a clinch.

Lesnar blocks the elbow strike.

Spider manages to break the clinch.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spider as he avoids it easily.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.
No luck for Spider with that takedown attempt.
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spider swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Spider shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lesnar pinned against the cage. Lesnar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lesnar doesn't manage to clinch there - Spider circles away.
Spider shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lesnar as he avoids it easily.
Lesnar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice sprawl there from Spider as Lesnar shoots in.
The fight stays on the outside here - Spider looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Spider is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Spider instigates a clinch.
Nice elbow from Spider.
Spider landing knees to the body.

Spider manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Spider is working an open guard so Lesnar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Spider doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Lesnar counters with a shoot takedown. Spider fights it but they end up in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lesnar wants to stand but Spider has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Lesnar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Spider is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Spider looking for a guillotine here but Lesnar defends easily.
Lesnar passes Spider's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Lesnar escapes and gets back to his feet.
Lesnar looks for a takedown but Spider sprawls well.
Lesnar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lesnar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lesnar throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Spider moves into the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Spider breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lesnar gets a takedown into half guard.
Lesnar looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Lesnar thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Spider trying to control but Lesnar postures up.
Ground and pound from Lesnar.
Spider wants to control the action here but instead Lesnar manages to pass to full mount!
Spider tries to lock up and control but Lesnar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lesnar jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Spider manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Spider regains half guard.
Lesnar scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Lesnar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lesnar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lesnar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Lesnar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Spider can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Spider is working to get back to half guard.
Spider wants to control but Lesnar is having none of it.
Lesnar controlling from mount.
Spider is squirming around, avoiding Lesnar's attempts to control the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Spider tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Lesnar dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Lesnar fails with the takedown.
Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Spider connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lesnar. Lesnar circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lesnar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spider thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lesnar if he has to take too many more of those.
Lesnar blocks a head kick by Spider.
Lesnar takes one to the chin there.
Lesnar throws a jab when Spider was well out of range.

Spider has closed the distance and engaged Lesnar in a clinch.
Spider is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Spider lands an elbow inside that Lesnar shrugs off.
Spider comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


Lesnar is rocked!
Spider landing knees to the head.
Oh Lesnar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spider lands a damaging elbow.
Spider lands an elbow that stopped Lesnar in his tracks for a moment.

Spider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lesnar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Spider is fending him off so far but Lesnar persists. Nope, Spider circles away and we're back to standing.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spider as he avoids it easily.
Spider lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Lesnar is looking to close the distance but Spider sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Lesnar crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Lesnar is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
