Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Saul Hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hudson comes to the cage accompanied by NightTrain. Johnson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Outside - Staind. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Saul Hudson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Casey Johnson! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Hudson is just out of range. Johnson gets a double leg takedown into Hudson's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hudson holds on and takes a little breather. Hudson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Johnson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hudson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hudson looking for a sweep. Not yet Hudson, not yet. Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hudson is working hard here to advance position. Johnson won't allow Hudson to get back to his feet. Johnson pushes down on Hudson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Johnson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hudson defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Hudson wants to improve his position but Johnson is controlling well.
Johnson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hudson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Johnson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Johnson wants to control but Hudson is keeping him busy. Johnson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hudson manages to get to full guard.
Johnson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hudson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Johnson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hudson's guard. Johnson works his way into full mount! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hudson is bucking up trying to escape but Johnson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hudson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hudson tries to lock up and control but Johnson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Johnson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Johnson with the ground and pound from mount. Johnson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hudson hang on? Johnson with shots to the head and body - Hudson looks very uncomfortable down there. Johnson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hudson looks a forlorn figure.

Hudson is rocked! Johnson is in the full mount, landing strikes. Oh Hudson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! A big strike lands for Johnson! That's really hurt Hudson and he's turned his back - Johnson keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Johnson jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Casey Johnson!
