The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zorin misses with a lunging right hand
and Johnson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Johnson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Johnson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Zorin misses with a hook to the body
and Johnson counters with a body kick that stops Zorin in his tracks momentarily.
Zorin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Johnson can pounce on him.
Zorin misses with a hook
and Johnson counters with a good, hard body kick but Zorin shrugs it off.
Zorin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnson lands a high kick!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson looks to land a body kick but Zorin moved away.
Johnson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Zorin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Zorin throws an off balance right hand
and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Johnson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Zorin looks gassed!
Johnson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zorin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Johnson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Max Zorin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Zorin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Zorin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Zorin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson scores with a head kick. Zorin tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Johnson looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Johnson backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Zorin's temple! It sends Zorin violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Johnson celebrates and the doctors try to help Zorin!
