Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huuj Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Maxtor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maxtor has chosen We Still Kill The Old Way as his entrance music. Huuj Dong has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Huuj Dong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, DJ Maxtor! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maxtor misses with a series of wild punches.
Maxtor gets caught flat footed, as Dong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Maxtor is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dong tries to free his leg and advance position but Maxtor is retaining full guard. Dong decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Maxtor, up you get! Maxtor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dong sprawls well initially but Maxtor persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Maxtor prevents Dong from improving his position. Dong is refusing to be controlled, as Maxtor sits in half guard. Dong with the active half guard here but Maxtor passes nicely into side control. Dong struggling a bit here. Dong tries to bench press Maxtor off him but Maxtor keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dong can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Maxtor throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Maxtor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dong moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Maxtor misses with a takedown attempt and Dong counters with a shoot takedown. Maxtor fights it but they end up in guard. Dong drops back looking for a leg! Maxtor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maxtor manages to kick Dong off! Dong jumps back into Maxtor's guard. Dong is breathing heavily. Dong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maxtor swivels though and keeps the full guard. Maxtor throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Dong won't allow Maxtor to get back to his feet. Dong trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dong thows a big elbow that misses. Dong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Maxtor is keeping the position for now. Dong lands a couple of elbows.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Dong. Dong decides to stand up, so the ref orders Maxtor to his feet. Dong decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Maxtor is defending against the submission attempts here by Dong.
Dong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dong works his foot free and advances to mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dong trying to control but Maxtor is having none of it. Maxtor is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dong trying to control but Maxtor is having none of it. Maxtor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dong lands a heavy elbow. A nice elbow there by Dong. Maxtor is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dong has hold of Maxtor's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Maxtor manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dong breaks from Maxtor's wrist control and lands an elbow. Dong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Maxtor tries to hold on but Dong pushes him away. Maxtor is looking to get to half guard. Dong is working for a guillotine from mount but Maxtor frees his head quite easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dong has control of Maxtor's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Maxtor regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Dong looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Dong prevents Maxtor from getting the reversal. Dong is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Dong!
