Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mathew Davidson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Calloway!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davidson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Calloway manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Davidson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Davidson prevents Calloway from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Calloway is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Mark Calloway has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Davidson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Calloway's guard.
Calloway wants to stand and escape but Davidson is having none of it.
Calloway wants to improve his position but instead Davidson has moved into half guard.
Davidson has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Calloway works to full guard.
Calloway wants to get back to his feet but Davidson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Davidson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Davidson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Calloway has got his arm under Davidson's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Davidson has spun round into Calloway's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mathew Davidson.
