Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Asmir Zslevski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Rando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asmir Zslevski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, William Rando! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rando darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Zslevski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zslevski showed some decent athleticism there. Zslevski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Zslevski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rando is just riding it out for now. Zslevski eventually gives up the hold. Rando is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zslevski's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zslevski's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rando is looking for the choke from the back position but Zslevski is controlling his hands well. Rando is trying to stick to Zslevski's back but Zslevski is turning into Rando. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Rando's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Zslevski. Rando wants to sweep but no luck. Rando is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rando is pulling down on Zslevski's head. It's preventing any offense from Zslevski, at least for the moment. Rando wants to stand up but Zslevski is controlling him. Rando looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Zslevski passes Rando's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rando is trying to stand back up but Zslevski is controlling him
Zslevski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rando pushes Zslevski off and gets back to his feet. Zslevski closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rando regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zslevski is trying to work for a kimura but Rando is defending well.
Rando is trying to stand back up but Zslevski is controlling him
Rando looking for submissions off his back. Rando looks gassed! Zslevski is trying to control the action in half guard but Rando is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Rando manages to get to full guard.
Rando is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Asmir Zslevski will probably get the nod. That's time! Zslevski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rando lands a two punch combo.
A combination from Rando does no damage. Zslevski slips under a jab from Rando. Rando throws a looping overhand right but Zslevski ducks down to avoid it. Rando misses with a double jab.
William Rando seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zslevski scores with a kick to the body.
Zslevski misses with a takedown attempt - Rando sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Rando looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rando swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rando throws a nice looking combination but Zslevski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Zslevski fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rando fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rando is breathing heavily. Zslevski closes the distance and clinches up with Rando, looking for a takedown. Zslevski pushes Rando against the cage but Rando circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Asmir Zslevski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zslevski tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rando counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zslevski won't be happy with that. Zslevski sneaks back into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rando wants to stand but Zslevski has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Zslevski wants to control but Rando is keeping busy and won't allow it. Zslevski is looking to escape. Rando wants to take a breather but Zslevski is having none of it. Rando wants to stand up but Zslevski manages to regain full guard. Zslevski is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Rando frees his head nicely. Oh but Zslevski has switched to an armbar! Rando is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
