Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Yuudai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichabod Klopfenstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Takeshi Yuudai! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ichabod Klopfenstein ! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yuudai shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Klopfenstein manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Klopfenstein is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Klopfenstein striking off his back but it's not causing Yuudai any problems. Yuudai wants to pass the guard but Klopfenstein is keeping the position. Klopfenstein controls Yuudai momentarily but Yuudai frees himself. Klopfenstein might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Yuudai kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Yuudai passes Klopfenstein 's left leg - he's now in half guard. Yuudai wants to pass to mount but Klopfenstein is defending the position. Yuudai thows a huge punch but Klopfenstein dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yuudai passes to full mount! Yuudai goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Klopfenstein turns into him and now he's in Yuudai's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yuudai pulls Klopfenstein in to control the position. Yuudai trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Klopfenstein trying to control but Yuudai is working from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Yuudai holds on and takes a little breather. Klopfenstein postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Yuudai looking for a sweep. Not yet Yuudai, not yet. Klopfenstein loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. That's two minutes gone in the round. Klopfenstein won't allow Yuudai to sweep him here. Klopfenstein wants to control from the top but Yuudai keeps moving. Yuudai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yuudai lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Klopfenstein ! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yuudai raining down shots from the mount! Klopfenstein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yuudai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Klopfenstein 's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Yuudai is landing with some decent strikes but Klopfenstein is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Yuudai misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Klopfenstein is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Yuudai locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Klopfenstein is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Takeshi Yuudai! Takeshi Yuudai retains his welterweight title! Takeshi Yuudai took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, XTREME PWNAGE for their support in the buildup to the fight.
