Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Skrappy Doo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Ehrenholm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Doo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough. Ehrenholm comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pride Fc Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Marcus Ehrenholm was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Doo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ehrenholm tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Marcus Ehrenholm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Doo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Doo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ehrenholm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Doo swivels and escapes.
Skrappy Doo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Ehrenholm.
Doo slaps away a takedown attempt from Ehrenholm, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ehrenholm finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee warns Ehrenholm that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Doo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Doo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Doo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Doo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ehrenholm scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Doo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Doo stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Skrappy Doo!
