Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ray Olob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lil Ricky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olob has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Lil Ricky has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olob misses with a takedown

and Ricky counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Olob's guard now.
Olob is breathing heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Ricky gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Ricky lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Olob circles away quickly and effectively.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ricky is keen to just control but Olob is a slippery customer.

Lil Ricky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Olob has his takedown stuffed
and Ricky counters with a straight right hand.
Ricky throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Olob tries to keep at a distance but Ricky has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ricky is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Ricky tries to land a knee to the head but Olob blocks with his arms.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A frustrated look appears on Ricky's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ricky wants to break free but Olob has control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ricky is pressed up against the cage. Olob has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ricky down to the mat. Ricky avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ricky rushes Olob and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ricky stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Ricky tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Ricky fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Olob shoots in looking for a takedown but Ricky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Olob's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Olob counters with a single leg into guard. Ricky didn't expect that.
Ricky wants to get back to his feet but Olob is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Olob is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We're going to have a standup here because Ray Olob wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
