Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stefan Kowalski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Jones! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Kowalski with that takedown attempt. Kowalski fails with the takedown. Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stefan Kowalski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kowalski has a takedown stuffed. Jones throws a quick inside leg kick. Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kowalski is breathing heavily. Jones leaves Kowalski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jones lands with a slapping head kick.

Jones throws a leg kick which misses Kowalski's front leg but catches the back leg as Kowalski tries to avoid it. Kowalski on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jones. Jones obviously looking to wear him down.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kowalski has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kowalski and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jones chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Alex Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Jones pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kowalski is out of range and Jones settles back down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. That's five minutes gone in the round. Jones looks to throw a body kick and Kowalski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jones is looking for a sweep. Kowalski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jones controlling the position well. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kowalski is working away from the top position though. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Jones gets back to full guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jones passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kowalski! Kowalski blocking the ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones cracks Kowalski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Jones landing strikes from the mount. Jones breaks from Kowalski's wrist control and lands an elbow. Jones working away from the top, dropping strikes. Kowalski avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jones.
Jones is in the full mount, landing strikes. Jones is landing with some decent strikes but Kowalski is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jones looking to control but Kowalski is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones with a couple of short strikes. Jones unloading with bombs!
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Jones looking to ground and pound but Kowalski is blocking nicely. Jones thowing shots but they're missing. Jones punching from mount but Kowalski doing a good job of avoiding damage. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jones thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Kowalski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones working away from the top, dropping strikes. Jones throwing strikes here but Kowalski is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kowalski is looking to escape. A nice elbow there by Jones. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kowalski is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action. Jones is stalling here but it's allowed Kowalski to get half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Kowalski's temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Jones dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones misses with a head kick.

Kowalski walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jones. Kowalski shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A slapping body kick lands there for Jones. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kowalski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jones - the referee stops the clock and Kowalski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jones. Kowalski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jones fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Jones lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kowalski takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones throws a leg kick but Kowalski moved away. Kowalski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Stefan Kowalski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Kowalski moves out of range easily. Kowalski moves into the clinch. Jones ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kowalski being controlled here momentarily. Jones wants to sweep here but Kowalski controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Alex Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
