The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Etuvainio looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Etuvainio showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Russell.
Etuvainio throws a big shot that misses.
Etuvainio misses with a head kick.
Etuvainio scores with a crisp jab that stopped Russell in his tracks.
Etuvainio looks to score with a jab to the body but Russell is just out of range.

and Etuvainio counters with a slapping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Russell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Etuvainio counters with a nice low kick that buckles Russell's knee momentarily.
No joy there for Russell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Etuvainio throws a lazy head kick
and Russell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Russell won't allow Etuvainio to sweep him here.
Russell trying to control the position from guard on top but Etuvainio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Etuvainio has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Russell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Etuvainio not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Russell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Etuvainio on the ground.
Etuvainio is looking to sinch up a triangle. Russell throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Etuvainio's body to avoid the submission. Etuvainio has instead reached around Russell's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Etuvainio arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
