Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Feodore Sabre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Lachance! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sabre defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lachance. Lachance scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sabre stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Lachance lands a few punches from side control. Sabre manages to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lachance throwing shots but Sabre is blocking nicely. Lachance performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Lachance thows a huge punch but Sabre dodges it nicely.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tim Lachance wasn't active enough on the ground. Sabre scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Lachance tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lachance manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Lachance works his way into side control. Lachance controls the position from side control. Lachance tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lachance has let go of the choke. That's three minutes gone in the round. Lachance looking to control but instead Sabre has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Sabre is controlling Lachance's trapped leg to prevent Lachance from advancing to side control. Sabre avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lachance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lachance missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lachance thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Sabre is defending against the submission attempts here by Lachance.
Lachance seems to be looking for submissions.
Sabre slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sabre has his hands on Lachance's head, controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Lachance dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Sabre defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lachance. Sabre walks into a straight right hand from Lachance. Sabre leaves Lachance with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lachance fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Feodore Sabre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Lachance. Lachance closes the distance and clinches up with Sabre, looking for a takedown. Lachance pushes Sabre against the cage but Sabre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lachance shoots and misses and Sabre counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lachance! Sabre controlling from mount. Lachance keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sabre tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lachance wants to hold on but Sabre pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lachance fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lachance misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Tim Lachance seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lachance gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sabre counters with a nice uppercut. Lachance fails with the takedown and Sabre counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Lachance moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Lachance lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sabre! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lachance swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
