The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazario changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cunningham tries to avoid it but Nazario manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cunningham to the ground. Cunningham escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cunningham moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Ronaldo Nazario has been cut.
Josh Cunningham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cunningham lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Cunningham jabs Nazario right on the nose. Nazario blinks but takes it well.
Nazario tries for a takedown but Cunningham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nazario takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

A looping hook to the body misses from Cunningham. Nazario does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nazario bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cunningham jabs Nazario to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Cunningham walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Nazario drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Cunningham swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Nazario's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
