Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Lindh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Lionheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Lindh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Lionheart! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lindh closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lionheart circles away. Lindh looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lionheart wants to sweep but no luck. Lindh pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lionheart is keeping the position for now. Lindh passes Lionheart's left leg - he's now in half guard. Lionheart is staying active underneath Lindh, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lionheart is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lindh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lindh's back! Lindh rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Lindh actively working from the bottom here. Lindh blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lionheart. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lindh keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lindh gets full guard. Lionheart postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lindh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lindh avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lionheart avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lindh is trying to control the position but Lionheart postures up. Lindh manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lindh punching from mount but Lionheart doing a good job of avoiding damage. Lionheart is bucking up trying to escape but Lindh cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Lindh landing strikes from the mount. Lindh jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lionheart manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lionheart sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Lindh is working for a submission of some sort.
Lionheart is staying active underneath Lindh, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lindh is working for a kimura but Lionheart is defending it quite comfortably.

Lindh content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Lindh passes Lionheart's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Lionheart avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lindh. Lindh is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lionheart doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lindh. Lindh not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lindh working Lionheart over with strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lionheart can do anything to dispel that myth. Lindh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lionheart keeps working. Lindh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lindh is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lindh in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lionheart tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lindh!
