8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Philip Farmery! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Farmery enables Allin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Farmery manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Allin wants to pass the guard but Farmery is keeping the position. Farmery throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Farmery is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Farmery is squirming around, avoiding Allin's attempts to control the action. Farmery is trying desperately to improve position. Allin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Allin with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Allin is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Farmery is surviving well by controlling Allin's body position as best he can.

Allin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Farmery tries to lock up and control but Allin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Allin working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Allin fails to advance to Farmery's back. Allin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Farmery manages to avoid the submission attempt. Allin trying to control the action but Farmery is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Farmery's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Allin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Farmery, who protects the arm well. Farmery tries to improve position but can't. Farmery is not content to let Allin control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Allin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Allin is thwarting Farmery's attempts to control the position. Allin tries to pass to full mount but Farmery defends it. Allin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Farmery keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Farmery is just riding it out for now. Allin eventually gives up the hold. Farmery regains full guard. Nicely done. Allin slips nicely into half guard. Allin is trying to control the action in half guard but Farmery is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Allin is pressing down on Farmery's thigh, looking to free his foot. Farmery is holding on for now. Farmery tries to get to full guard but Allin has control of the leg. Farmery wants to get back to his feet. Allin trying to pass the guard but Farmery defending well. Allin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Farmery counters though and makes it back to full guard. Allin tries to free his leg and advance position but Farmery is retaining full guard. Farmery has his foot on Allin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Allin works his way back into a safe position though. Allin's corner is telling him to maintain position. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Allin here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Allin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Allin is working hard here to advance position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Farmery working for a triangle but Allin defends it easily.

Philip Farmery is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Allin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Farmery counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Gg Allin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Farmery lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Allin feints and as Farmery raises his hands in defense, Allin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Farmery keeping moving, preventing Allin from controlling successfully. Allin wants to pass the guard but Farmery is keeping the position. Allin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Farmery has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Allin has managed to get both his arms back between Farmery's legs - danger averted. Allin passes into half guard. Allin not doing much here.

Farmery is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Allin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Farmery manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Allin has Farmery in his guard. Farmery won't allow Allin to sweep him here. Farmery trying to control the position from guard on top but Allin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Allin is on top in guard.

He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Allin screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
