Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Blinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Blinov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko darts in and clinches Blinov up against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Blinov. Emelianenko goes for a takedown in the clinch but Blinov prevents it.
Blinov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Emelianenko walks away with a smile on his face. Blinov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Blinov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Emelianenko sprawls well initially but Blinov persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Blinov tries to stand and escape but Emelianenko is controlling the position. Emelianenko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Emelianenko is trying to control but can't.
Emelianenko avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Blinov. Emelianenko wants to control but Blinov is keeping busy.
Blinov tries to stand and escape but Emelianenko actually recovers to full guard. Blinov landing with the ground and pound. Emelianenko has his foot on Blinov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blinov works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Blinov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Blinov stands and steps away. Emelianenko gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Blinov wants to clinch and Emelianenko counters by moving into the clinch. Blinov gets through Emelianenko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Blinov slowing the pace effectively. Blinov manages to break the clinch.
Blinov closes the distance but Emelianenko moves to the side and Emelianenko counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Blinov throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Blinov scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Emelianenko manages to mount him!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko punishing his opponent with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blinov wants to control but Emelianenko is having none of it. Blinov is trying to escape the mount.
Blinov swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Emelianenko controlling the pace for now. Emelianenko blocks Blinov's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Blinov throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blinov looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Emelianenko landing with strikes. You can see the frustration on Blinov's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Blinov is breathing heavily. Emelianenko is looking to control Blinov but Blinov is wriggling around and keeping busy. Blinov looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Blinov tries to escape but Emelianenko has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Blinov covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Blinov trying to control the action but Emelianenko just sinks the hooks in. You can see the frustration on Blinov's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Emelianenko tries to get the hooks in deep but Blinov pushed the leg off. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Emelianenko has Blinov flattened out and is raining down punches. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Blinov is trying to break free.
What can Blinov do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Emelianenko is trying to stick to Blinov's back but Blinov is turning into Emelianenko. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Emelianenko's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Blinov. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Emelianenko dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Emelianenko closes the distance and clinches. Emelianenko tries to pull guard but Blinov won't allow it.

Emelianenko pulls guard effortlessly. Blinov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Emelianenko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Blinov stands up from guard. Let's bang! Emelianenko with a lazy takedown attempt and Blinov counters with a shoot takedown. Emelianenko fights it but they end up in guard. Blinov throws and elbow that misses. Emelianenko uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Blinov's guard. Nice move by Emelianenko! Emelianenko stops Blinov from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Emelianenko stopping the sweep attempt from Blinov. Emelianenko trying to control but Blinov is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blinov throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Blinov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Blinov wants to control the position but Emelianenko says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Emelianenko keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Emelianenko is working for a kimura but Blinov is defending it quite comfortably.
Emelianenko is pressing down on Blinov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Blinov is holding on for now. Emelianenko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Emelianenko blocks the strikes from Blinov.
Emelianenko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blinov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Emelianenko is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Blinov wants to control but Emelianenko is keeping busy.
Blinov is looking to improve his position.
Fedor Emelianenko has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Emelianenko stands up and beckons Blinov to join him on the feet. Blinov tries to clinch but Emelianenko is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blinov looks to land a combination but Emelianenko avoids it well. Blinov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Blinov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Blinov manages to break the clinch.
Emelianenko has closed the distance and engaged Blinov in a clinch.
Blinov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Emelianenko gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Emelianenko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Blinov finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Emelianenko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Emelianenko lands in his opponent's guard. Blinov can't keep his opponent in guard - Emelianenko advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko seems to be working for a kimura but Blinov defends the submission attempt. Emelianenko missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Blinov throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Blinov scores with a few weak punches. Emelianenko not doing much here.
Blinov is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

Fedor Emelianenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Blinov! Blinov sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Emelianenko not doing much here.
Emelianenko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's one minute gone in the round. Blinov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Blinov is working an open guard so Emelianenko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Emelianenko fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Emelianenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blinov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Emelianenko somewhat. Emelianenko fails with the takedown and Blinov counters by moving into the clinch. Anton Blinov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Emelianenko.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A shot in the inside from Blinov. Blinov tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Blinov has a couple of punches blocked by Emelianenko.
Blinov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Blinov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Blinov looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Emelianenko has picked Blinov up and slammed him! Blinov can't keep hold of the triangle and Emelianenko manages to pass to side control! Blinov struggling a bit here. Emelianenko takes a little break here. Blinov wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Emelianenko scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Blinov some visible discomfort.
Emelianenko cracks Blinov with a big right hand but Blinov just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Emelianenko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blinov keeps working. Blinov is trying to control Emelianenko's posture but Emelianenko avoids it. Blinov is looking for a sweep. Emelianenko decides to stand up, so the ref orders Blinov to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Blinov wants to clinch but Emelianenko slips to the side and Emelianenko counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Blinov wants to control the action here but instead Emelianenko manages to pass to full mount! Blinov gives up his back whilst trying to strike.
Blinov has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Blinov trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Anton Blinov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Emelianenko has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Blinov has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

And that's the end of the fight! Fedor Emelianenko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Emelianenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
