Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Attakora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pookie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Attakora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pookie Jackson! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Attakora doesn't seem bothered though. Attakora takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Attakora moves into the clinch. Jackson is trying to force a seperation but Attakora has the dominant position. Attakora dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Attakora jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jackson walks away with a smile on his face. Attakora gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Attakora scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jackson tries to get to full guard but Attakora has control of the leg. Jackson is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Attakora stands up out of the half guard. Jackson avoids a kick to the body.
Attakora takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Attakora walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jackson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Nice shot lands for Jackson. Attakora shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side. Jackson connects with a nice looking jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Attakora clinches with his opponent.

Jackson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Attakora fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Attakora. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Attakora takes a shot right to the bread basket. Attakora tries for a takedown but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Attakora misses with a combination
and Jackson counters with a straight right hand. Pookie Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Attakora shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Attakora keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Attakora takes a body punch but keeps moving. Donk. Jackson catches Attakora right on the button with a cross. Attakora looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Attakora moves into the clinch successfully.

Jason Attakora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Attakora shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense. Attakora shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jackson digs a good hook to Attakora's body.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Attakora. Attakora shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Attakora is breathing heavily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson lands with a good body shot. Jackson jabs at Attakora's body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pookie Jackson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Attakora looks to land a body kick but Jackson moved away. Attakora is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Attakora dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Attakora's head and hops out. A shot to the liver by Jackson. Beautiful body shot. Jackson scores with a nice right hand.
Attakora drives through with a takedown into guard. Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Attakora. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jackson wants to sweep but no luck. Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Attakora wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson trying to keep a closed guard but Attakora is proving a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Attakora misses with a combination
and Jackson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Attakora takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Attakora will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Attakora moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson lands with a good body shot. Attakora tries to clinch there but Jackson circles away.

Attakora walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nice jab there from Jackson. Nice straight punches there by Jackson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jackson. Attakora fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Attakora. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson lands a jab to the nose.

Jason Attakora is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Attakora tries to clinch up. Attakora walks into a left hand. Jackson lands a nice shot to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson connects with a jab. Attakora closes the distance and clinches. Attakora keeps control of Jackson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Attakora leaning against his opponent.
Jackson is trying to maintain a safe position but Attakora gets an underhook and turns Jackson into the cage. Attakora jumps guard.
Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Attakora has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Attakora's legs - danger averted. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Attakora has Jackson pulled in close to control his posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pookie Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Attakora darts in and clinches Jackson up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Jackson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Attakora drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Attakora shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Left hook, right uppercut from Jackson. Jackson throws a shot to the body.
Attakora misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jackson sizes up Attakora with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nice jab there from Jackson. Attakora misses the body punch and Jackson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Attakora fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Attakora will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson lands a jab to Attakora's midsection. Attakora shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely. Pookie Jackson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Attakora moves forwards but Jackson connects with a nice, crisp jab. Pookie Jackson seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Attakora fails with an attempt to clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice uppercut there from Jackson. Jason Attakora has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Attakora takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
And that's the end of the fight! Pookie Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Jackson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
