Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronald McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wha Rea Shin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronald McDonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wha Rea Shin! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Shin or perhaps it was just good defense by McDonald which made him look bad. McDonald doesn't manage to clinch there - Shin circles away.
McDonald tries to clinch up and Shin counters by moving into the clinch. Shin is fighting off a takedown attempt but McDonald is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Shin to the mat. Shin regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. McDonald trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Shin has his foot on McDonald's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McDonald works his way back into a safe position though. McDonald won't allow Shin to sweep him here. McDonald looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shin is pulling down on McDonald's head. It's preventing any offense from McDonald, at least for the moment. McDonald thows a big elbow that misses. McDonald with a flurry of punches that miss. McDonald trying to control the position from guard on top but Shin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDonald trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McDonald is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. McDonald stands up from guard. Let's bang! McDonald looking to score a takedown here. Shin is defending well but McDonald drives through and ends up in Shin's guard. McDonald working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. McDonald trying to control but Shin is working from the bottom. Shin wants to sweep here but McDonald controlling him for the moment. McDonald is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ronald McDonald. Shin wants to clinch and McDonald counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. McDonald throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Shin as McDonald tries to tie him up. Shin gets underhooks to prevent McDonald's takedown attempt.
McDonald tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
McDonald can't break the clinch.
Shin tries to score a body lock takedown but McDonald shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Shin looks gassed! McDonald tries to pull guard but Shin won't allow it.
McDonald is working for takedown but Shin is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronald McDonald. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shin jumps guard but McDonald stands there with Shin around his waist. Shin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McDonald breaks from the clinch.
McDonald throws a head kick that misses and Shin counters with a nice body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McDonald tries to keep at a distance but Shin has taken the fight into the clinch. McDonald pulls guard successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDonald wants to stand up but Shin is controlling him. Shin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McDonald is keeping the position for now. Shin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Shin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Shin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Shin blocks a head kick by McDonald.
Shin takes the fight into the clinch. McDonald fails to pull guard.
McDonald wants to break free but Shin has control.
McDonald is looking to break free of the clinch but Shin has double underhooks. McDonald gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Shin.
McDonald pulls Shin into guard.
Shin trying to control the position from guard on top but McDonald is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McDonald wants to stand and escape but Shin is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronald McDonald dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
McDonald is looking to slow Shin down with leg kicks. McDonald takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McDonald stuffs the takedown attempt from Shin. Shin gets slowly back to his feet. McDonald wants to clinch but Shin slips to the side and Shin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McDonald! McDonald's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. McDonald blocking the ground and pound. McDonald really wants to buck Shin off and get back to his feet. McDonald is squirming around, avoiding Shin's attempts to control the action. Shin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McDonald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McDonald is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shin landing strikes from the mount. McDonald is in all sorts of trouble here.
Shin is looking to work his way around to McDonald's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. McDonald is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
McDonald reaches up to try and control the position but Shin seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! McDonald rolls and tries to escape and now Shin has his back!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Shin not allowing McDonald to control his hands. Shin has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for McDonald. McDonald controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Shin is looking to control McDonald but McDonald is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shin biding his time, controlling McDonald. McDonald manages to escape to his feet. McDonald dives in and grabs Shin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shin pushes down on McDonald's head and hops out. McDonald throws a lazy head kick and Shin counters into the clinch. Nicely done. McDonald has Shin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Shin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Shin decides to pull guard. McDonald wants to pass the guard but Shin is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McDonald throws a big right hand that misses. Shin is pulling down on McDonald's head to control his posture. McDonald is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. McDonald advances to half guard. McDonald trying to control from half guard but Shin is working away. Shin tries to roll over but McDonald keeps him under control. Shin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wha Rea Shin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
McDonald has a takedown stuffed. McDonald misses with a takedown and Shin counters with a nice double leg into side control. McDonald won't be happy with that. McDonald is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Shin is controlling him well. Shin decides to stand back up. Shin lands an overhand right. Shin rushes McDonald and presses him up against the cage. Shin pulls guard. McDonald postures up in Shin's guard and throws a big left but Shin blocks it. McDonald trying to control but Shin is working from the bottom. Shin is controlling McDonald's posture. McDonald thows a big elbow that misses. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shin pushes McDonald off and gets back to his feet.
Shin is looking to clinch but McDonald is avoiding it.
Shin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McDonald. Shin stuffs the takedown attempt from McDonald. McDonald gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronald McDonald. That's going to take a lot out of him. McDonald throws a sloppy head kick and Shin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McDonald! McDonald really wants to buck Shin off and get back to his feet. Shin moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, McDonald has worked his arm free - good work by McDonald!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shin decides to take the fight back to the feet. Shin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McDonald paws at him with a jab and circles away. Shin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDonald with a lazy takedown attempt so Shin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Shin wanted to stand there but McDonald had control of the position. McDonald avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. McDonald wants to stand up but Shin is controlling him. Shin trying to control the position from guard on top but McDonald is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shin sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Wha Rea Shin has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. McDonald gets caught flat footed, as Shin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Shin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McDonald looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wha Rea Shin has got the better of the ground game so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McDonald keeping full guard, as Shin tries to pass. Shin looking to sit in guard and control but McDonald gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that's the end of the fight! Wha Rea Shin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Shin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
