The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop takes a swing at Pharaoh's ribcage but misses.

Bishop clinches up with Pharaoh and pushes him back against the cage.
Pharaoh misses with some punches.
Bishop tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pharaoh's elbow.
Pharaoh swings wildly with an uppercut but Bishop uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pharaoh tries to score a body lock takedown but Bishop shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Pharaoh scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bishop prevents a takedown attempt there.
Pharaoh misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bishop pushes Pharaoh back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Bishop gets through Pharaoh's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Pharaoh has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bishop avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Billy Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Pharaoh.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pharaoh.

Bishop closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bishop lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pharaoh backwards.

Pharaoh takes an elbow to the temple.
Pharaoh swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Pharaoh doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Bishop gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Pharaoh is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bishop is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pharaoh to the mat. Pharaoh regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Pharaoh has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bishop is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pharaoh.
Pharaoh looks gassed!
