Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Payakaroon Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Lanzaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lanzaro has chosen Eminem - Superman as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bot misses with a leg kick.
Lanzaro closes the distance and clinches up with Bot, looking for a takedown. Lanzaro pushes Bot against the cage but Bot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lanzaro looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lanzaro scoring with punches to the head and body.
Lanzaro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bot swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lanzaro stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Bot throws a head kick that misses.

Bot misses with a head kick.
Lanzaro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bot as he jumps to the side.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bot.
Lanzaro fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Payakaroon Bot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Lanzaro.
Lanzaro tries for a takedown but Bot sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bot wants to clinch.

Lanzaro shoots in but no luck this time.
No luck for Lanzaro with that takedown attempt.
Bot swings for the body but Lanzaro moves out of range.

Lanzaro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bot tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lanzaro is in Bot's guard.
Lanzaro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bot scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bot keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lanzaro looks gassed!
Bot gets caught napping as Lanzaro dives in and scores a takedown. Bot manages to retain guard.
Lanzaro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Lanzaro wants to stand but Bot is controlling his posture from full guard.
Lanzaro won't allow Bot to get back to his feet.
Lanzaro looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Lanzaro trying to control the position from guard on top but Bot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddy Lanzaro dominated that round.
That's time! Bot's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bot pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horrible takedown by Lanzaro or perhaps it was just good defense by Bot which made him look bad.
Lanzaro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Freddy Lanzaro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bot throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bot punishes Lanzaro's body with a nice straight punch.
Bot looks to score with a jab to the body but Lanzaro is just out of range.

Lanzaro avoids the body shot from Bot.

Bot throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bot stuffs the takedown.
A punch lands to the side of Lanzaro 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bot feints and then cracks Lanzaro's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lanzaro down.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lanzaro blocks a head kick by Bot.

Lanzaro takes one on the button.
It looks like Freddy Lanzaro has been cut.
Bot lands a big head kick that sends Lanzaro to the canvas! Bot follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
