Rosa comes into the arena with Bate Pesadão blaring out of the sound system. John Paul is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Paul throws a series of punches but Rosa moves out of range.
Rosa throws a lazy right hand but Paul sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Paul falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rosa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
John Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paul lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Diego Rosa has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Paul.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rosa misses with a wild body shot.
Paul lands a big right hand that sends Rosa crashing to the mat! Paul stays standing though and waves Rosa back to his feet!

Paul throws a right hand that Rosa ducks under and follows up with a left that Rosa also avoids with ease.
Rosa just misses with a punch to the body.
Paul wobbles Rosa with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Paul dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Rosa to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
